Board of Visitors to meet in Williamsburg Sept. 21-23

The session will begin with committee meetings at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, in Blow Memorial Hall located at 262 Richmond Road. The meetings in Blow Hall will conclude by approximately 5:30 p.m. The Board will attend a dinner Wednesday night at 7 p.m.at the Plumeri House, located at 119 Chandler Court.
On Thursday, Sept. 22, committee meetings will begin at 8 a.m. in Blow Hall. The Board will then tour Small Hall, located at 300 Ukrop Way, and have lunch at the newly expanded and renovated physics building from noon until 1:30 p.m. Committee meetings will reconvene at 2 p.m. in Blow Hall and are scheduled to conclude by 5 p.m. The Board will reconvene in the Blue Room of the Sir Christopher Wren Building, located at 111 Jamestown Road, for the swearing in of new Board members. The Board will then attend a reception in the Great Hall of the Wren Building followed by a dinner honoring retiring Board members beginning at 6:45 p.m. in Leadership Hall of the Alumni House, located at 500 Richmond Road.
On Friday, Sept. 23, the meetings will reconvene at 8:15 a.m. in Blow Hall and should conclude by 12:30 p.m. The Board will then tour Tribe Square, located at 249 Richmond Road.
The meetings are open to the public, but there will be no opportunity for public comment.
